Motivation & Co is a company which provides motivational classes for the elderly.
The company was founded in 1986 and is run on a franchise basis. Their mission is
to provide a quality first class service to the residents of Residential and Nursing
Homes and they are at the cutting edge of their sector.
The successful candidate will be constantly stimulated as no day is ever the same
and the interaction with the residents is rewarding for both you and the group.
You will be able to see the improvement in mental response and physical ability.
For residents with Dementia & Alzheimers in particular, you will be providing
much needed stimulation, however you will be able to make a connection with all
of the residents and feel that you are making a real difference to their lives.
The position of Motivational Therapist is usually a part time position on 3, 4 or
5 days per week, with 2 or 3 classes per day.
Responsibilities
- To provide a unique quality designed Motivation Class for residents of Residential
and Nursing Homes.
- To create a supportive learning environment, which is challenging and stimulating,
to yourself and your clients.
- To ensure notice boards display relevant Motivation Class information for next occasion.
- To maintain client records of each class attended.
Requirements
You will need a passion for making a difference in peoples’ lives. You will need
to be a car owner with a full license and insurance that covers business use. Experience
of operating as part of a team, whilst being able to work independently. Excellent
motivational, interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to working within
an Equal Opportunities environment. Ability to maintain client and organisation
confidentiality.

You will receive full in house training. You will be provided with a uniform, which
