Motivational Therapist

The company was founded in 1986 and is run on a franchise basis. Their mission is
to provide a quality first class service to the residents of Residential and Nursing
Homes and they are at the cutting edge of their sector.
The successful candidate will be constantly stimulated as no day is ever the same
and the interaction with the residents is rewarding for both you and the group.
You will be able to see the improvement in mental response and physical ability.
For residents with Dementia & Alzheimers in particular, you will be providing
much needed stimulation, however you will be able to make a connection with all
of the residents and feel that you are making a real difference to their lives.
The position of Motivational Therapist is usually a part time position on 3, 4 or
5 days per week, with 2 or 3 classes per day.
Responsibilities
- To provide a unique quality designed Motivation Class for residents of Residential
and Nursing Homes.
- To create a supportive learning environment, which is challenging and stimulating,
to yourself and your clients.
- To ensure notice boards display relevant Motivation Class information for next occasion.
- To maintain client records of each class attended.
Requirements
A strong passion for making a difference in peoples lives especially focusing on
our ageing population. An ability to work both independently and within a team
environment. This opportunity is suitable for people who have strong
motivational, interpersonal & communications skills, and who understand the
importance of professionalism, relationship development & who possess strong
organisational skills.
Joining our team
Once accepted full training and certification is provided together with ongoing
development skills. Applicants will require police clearance and must possess a
